Cleaning is challenging, especially in locations where the water source is deep in the mountains and difficult to access by vehicle. In particular, during late autumn when fallen leaves increase, the frequency of cleaning doubles, further increasing the maintenance burden. Our surface water intake device, the "WSS Water Screen," addresses these issues. By installing it on existing weirs, the frequency of cleaning at the intake point decreases even during the leaf-fall season, significantly reducing the maintenance burden.
